Eon Gaming was not only created to be a safe environment for gamers to meet and play with other gamers just like them but as a platform to excel and improve their gameplay around a friendly and comfortable atmosphere. The Eon Gaming Community is available on many consoles, geared around no specific game and is equipped with friendly and helpful leadership available to any gamer/member new and old. Eon Gaming takes pride in its leadership and focus in making every member feel equally important with our ranking structure which allows any member who accepts the responsibility to join our amazing leadership team. Eon Gaming is a community unlike any other that returns loyalty with opportunity and growth within our community as well as helps teach life related skills for ever member that chooses to participate in our many workshops and programs. Purpose of the Handbook

 

This book is an abbreviated encapsulation of Eon Gaming’s general membership policies, practices, and benefits. This handbook is for informational purposes only. This handbook does not and is not intended to address every possible membership situation. It is important that you read, understand, and follow the provisions in this handbook. As Eon Gaming continues to grow, we hope that these principles will serve each new person joining our ranks. If you are new to Eon Gaming, welcome! Although the goals in this book are important, it’s really your ideas, talents, and energy that will keep Eon Gaming shining in the years ahead.

 

 

 

Mission Statement:

 

Eon Gaming’s mission is striving to enhance the online gaming environment without regard to skill, race, gender or personal beliefs or opinion. Our goal, for over the 4 months, has been to become a hub for all types of players. Whether they are a competitive or casual gamer, Eon Gaming is a place to call home while allowing members to express their individual talents and passions for video games.

 

Your First Day

 

Ah, so you’ve completed the Recruitment /Training Process, and you’re finally an official member of (EG). Congratulations, and welcome! This is a unique community with an incredibly different way of doing things compared to other organizations in our genre. This is what makes Eon Gaming the greatest multi-platform gaming community today. However, it can take some getting used to. This handbook was created by people who have been where you are now and have the desire to make your first few weeks here as easy as possible.

Eon Gaming Facts That Matter

 

Eon Gaming is self-funded. Since the beginning we have always paid for things ourselves. The majority of the amazing tools this community utilizes was funded by the members and leadership within. Our organization generates commission from Sponsors based on sales using our promo-codes. We also use advertisements on our website that generates a small amount of money each day. Using practices like this along with donations and merchandise sales is what makes all this possible. Leadership of Eon Gaming invest a lot of time, money and energy to make this all possible.

Eon Gaming is not your normal gaming organization. Since our existence we have strived to be more. As most gaming organizations tend to utilize a “Team” structure with a small staff and a select base of members. Our organization utilizes a “Community” structure with extensive staff and massive base of members. We are a gaming community.

 

Eon Gaming is not for everyone. Not all players will enjoy what we have to offer here. Our primary goal is and always will be the creation of friendships and social experiences. Of course we love to win, but that is not the primary goal here. This is a family environment, there will be good days and bad days.

Eon Gaming has its haters. Surprisingly one of the toughest parts of success is finding peers happy for you. But as they say, “Anyone can get pity. Jealousy you have to earn.” We’re what is considered a “progressive community” which means we do not practice hostile activities such as Trash Talk, Harassment or Cyber Crimes.

Not all groups are like us, some see your success and desire to cause harm. These are what we call “The Blacklisted”. We block all contact with these people for the protection of ourselves and members.

 

 

 

Rank Up! or don’t…

Hierarchy is great for maintaining predictability and repeatability. It simplifies planning and makes it easier to control a large group of people from the top down, which is why our ranking structure rely on it so heavily. However, here we do not utilize our Rank Structure for the purpose of “Control” we do so to guide one another to succeed and offer more to the members. Our community has spent the better part of the last 4 months going out of its way to recruit the most unique individuals gaming today and even further to promote the most intelligent, innovative, talented people on Earth. We want innovators, and that means maintaining an environment where they’ll flourish. This community is ours to steer—toward opportunities and away from risks. Together we have the power to ensure our organization survives. If you’re thinking to yourself, “Wow, that sounds like a lot of responsibility,” you’re right. That’s why accepting promotions is the single most important thing you will ever do at Eon Gaming. Any time you accept a position, you need to ask yourself not only if you’re talented or collaborative but also if you’re capable of literally determining the gaming experience of others. No one will ever force you to accept a position, that is solely your choice. Game Nights, Social Nights and Workshops are the three (3) ways members can rank up within Eon Gaming…

             a. Game Nights are the community’s way of getting together to have fun. They are typically hosted by a member of leadership on one of your squad’s primary games. Hosting of a Game Night is handled by each squad differently. Some squads have set Game Nights each week, others hold them at differing times. 

To host a Game Night all you need is to give some advanced warning (typically 12 hours) that you will be hosting and what game you will be playing, along with the activity in said game. Confirm with a staff member that this is an acceptable Game Night and you’re on your way. Posting of your Game Night will typically happen in Discord, with PlayStation also having the option of using the “event” feature of the communities. Open voice parties for Game Nights are required unless you have express consent from your Major or General. Attendance must be taken to ensure that all members receive credit for attending Game Nights and ranking up withing the community.

 

             b. Social Nights are also the community’s way of getting to together and getting to know each other while having fun. They can be hosted by any member so long as an advanced warning is given (typically 12 hours) and a staff member is present.

 

            To host a social night confirm from a staff member that the social is allowed to take place at the date and time requested, if approved all that’s left to do is promote it in the designated channel within the Discord server. Attendance must be taken to ensure that all member receive credit for attending Social Nights and ranking up within the community.

 

            c. Workshops are the community’s way to give members the know how when dealing with certain situations. (EG) Code of Conduct/Rules and Regulations are just a few things that can be taught when attending a workshop, however Eon Gaming leaves it up to the members interests and imagination when deciding what to teach other members.

 

            To host a workshop members must be the rank of staff (Lieutenant or higher) and must host a workshop that is a minimum of 20 minutes long, there is no maximum length for workshops. There must also be a 12 hour advanced warning to host a workshop with at least 3 members attending or the workshop must be rescheduled for a later date/time. Attendance must be taken to ensure that all members receive credit for their attendance the Workshop and potential rank up within the community.

Chain of Command

What is the Chain of Command: The definition of a Chain of Command (C.O.C) is an official hierarchy of authority that dictates who is in charge of whom and of whom permission must be asked.

An example of Chain of Command is when an employee reports to a Manager who reports to a Senior Manager who reports to the Vice President who reports to the CEO. The CEO makes final decisions binding on everyone, followed by the Vice President and so on down the line.

In this example the ranks will be Master Sargent (MSG), Lieutenant (LT), Captain (CPT), Major (MAJ), Colonel (COL) and General (GEN). Corporal (CPL), Sargent (SGT), and Staff Sargent (SSG) will be counted as one rank since it has no responsibility or expectation to it

1. Members are only allowed to skip one (1) rank when needing to report an issue, therefore if a CPL, SGT or SSG has an issue they may address it no higher then to a MSG. If a MSG cannot resolve the issue they may address it to no higher then a LT. So on and so forth

2. Harrassment (Especially Sexual Harrassment) Suicidal threats or attempts and Squad Tranfers are the only 3 exceptions to this rule. Member are allowed to climb all the way up the Chain of Command to address these issues

Any member that breaks the chain of command risks being Mred or Rsed from Eon Gaming as this rule was put into place for a reason. Every Staff member plays an important role in this community, whether it be managing the discord, keeping the website up and running, handling internal issues etc and these members should not be bothered by issues that can be brought to the attention of a lower staff member

Your community will be a different community a few years from now because you are going to change it for the better. We can’t wait to see where you take us. The experiences that you decide to create for future members are the things that define us. Whether it’s a new squad, expansion to a new game, new policy that helps players, a new form of technology that allows us to clone high performing members.. or (more likely) something nobody’s thought of yet—we can’t wait to see what kind of future you choose to build at Eon

Activity Policy

 

While we are a laid-back community members who are not active within the community may be subject to removal. To be considered active, a member must make attempts to engage with squad members on the gaming platform of choice, within Discord, and attend squad/division activities such as game nights, meetings, and events. Failure to meet said criteria for longer than two weeks without a communicated Leave of Absence (LoA) may result in removal from the squad and/or division. Participation is what makes our communities grow and brings members together, ensuring we remain a healthy and active organization.

 

Console Activity: As listed in the Rank Descriptions, members of Eon Gaming are required to take part in squad meetings, game nights, and other activities a minimum of twice a month. 

Attendance: Every member of Eon Gaming is important to the overall success of OUR communities. When you are not here, someone else must do your job. Consequently, you are expected to report to games, practices, and meetings on time at the scheduled start of the day. Reporting to games, practices, and meetings show initiative and responsibility.

RELATIONSHIP POLICY SUBJECT OF: “CONFLICT OF INTEREST”


Eon Gaming is a family-oriented community. Being a community, we understand that people will pair up. If two members do pair up, Eon Gaming asks they please take responsibility and follow the rules outlined; this includes all marriages or “real-life” relationships of any sort. Taking responsibility for your relationship, you will be asked if your relationship gets in the way of your Eon Gaming duties, the duties of others, the running of the squad or division, or the well being of any member in Eon Gaming. Disciplinary action can be up to, but not limited to, a Membership Revoke. This does qualify for real-life relationships if both parties are both in Eon Gaming. This policy does not permit any member over the age of 18 to be in any form of relationship with a member under the age of 18. Violation of this subject of the policy will result in an immediate Membership Revoke of both parties, and possible Blacklisting. Eon Gaming does not allow personal “real life” relationships within the same squad/division due to the potential perception of a conflict of interest. This is to prevent the idea of favoritism or “non-favoritism”.

If the parties are both below a Master Sergeant rank, they may remain in the same squad, providing it is not disruptive to the squad.


If one member is above a Master Sergeant rank, the other must be transferred out of the squad. If they are both above a Master Sergeant rank, the lower-ranking officer is to be transferred to another squad.


If one member is in the Division Staff and one is in a squad of said division, then the two members will be separated by division.


If two members are in a relationship, past or present, the one member with the lower rank must be transferred to another squad or division.


An officer cannot be over someone whom he/she is in a relationship with, past or present. If you are an officer in a squad which contains another member in which you are having a relationship, that member must transfer out of that squad.

A division officer cannot be over someone whom he/she is in a relationship with, past or present. If you are an officer in Division Staff which contains another member in which you are having a relationship with, that member must transfer out of that division.

Adult Eon Gaming members, over the age of 18, may not have, pursue, or engage in, any unlawful personal ‘pseudo-sexual’ relationship with another member under the age of 18 while in Eon Gaming.
Directors, Senior Directors, and Board of Directors are not allowed to have a personal ‘pseudo-sexual’ relationship(s) with any member in the Eon Gaming community, unless the COO approves. Familial relationships may be permitted provided that there is no oversight in relation to their rank. Example: Not in the same division, department, or any position of influence over the other.
Members who are in a personal ‘pseudo-sexual’ relationship whom are in (EG), cannot be involved in each other’s promotions or disciplinary actions.


Relationships relating to this policy include: boyfriend, girlfriend, husband, wife, father, mother, son, and daughter as well as all familial and/or LGBT relationships. This also includes any other alternative relationship(s) not stated here. The President, Vice President, COO, CoS, and CPO have the right to review each situation, and may overrule this policy if deemed necessary. This policy is subject to be modified by senior leadership as a whole on a case to case basis.

Name Change/Status Policy

All Eon Gaming members will have (EG) inputted in their nickname upon entry into this community, this is a nickname only for our server and does not follow you to any other Discord Server. Eon Gaming encourages all its members to express themselves the way they want as long as it does not interfere with the orderly running of the community or go against the rules set forth within the community. With this in mind we know that members have a tendency to change their names within Discord and we kindly ask all members to inform a staff member of any changes to their Discord name. This act will allow us to keep track of you in the server to ensure you do not get lost within the server, mistaken for someone else and accidently kicked or that you don't miss out on tournaments/contests you were enrolled in.

 

Below is the sanctions for any member that fails to inform staff of their name change

 

1, First and second offense will result in the member being given a verbal warning informing them that they need to inform us of any name changes.

 

2. Third offense will result in a 24 hour mute in the Discord Server as well as a verbal warning informing them that they need to inform us of any name changes.

 

3. Fouth offense will be considered intentional and will lead to a kick from the server 

Any member that has an offensive or inappropriate Discord Status, profile picture (PFP), PSN, Gamertag or bio withing their Xbox or PSN will be asked to remove or change the material. Failure to do so will result in sanctions within the community and/or removal from Eon Gaming

1. First offense will result in the member being warned about their inappropriate material and asked to remove

2. Second offense (or if member refuses to take down the material down) will lead to a automatic 24-hour mute

3. Third offense (or if the member still refuses to take down the material) will lead to  a Membership Revoked (MR) from Eon Gaming and the member will be kicked

 

 

                             

                                           

 

Discord Promotion Policy:

Although members are permitted to have their own Discord Servers they MUST follow the proper channels if they want to promote said Discord Server and get it verified by Eon Gaming.  

 

  • Member must bring their desire to promote their discord server to the attention of a Senior Staff member (LT+)

 

  • Senior Staff MUST be invited and accept invitation to said Discord Server and verify that it is non toxic, poses no threat to daily operations of Eon Gaming and that it is not in it on description a similar community to Eon Gaming

 

  • Once approved a Senior Staff member MUST remain in said server at all times while member is actively promoting their server in Eon Gaming's community.

 

  • If approved members are allowed to promote their personal discord server a maximum of once, (1) time a week in Eon Gaming's self promotion channel or pics and links channel.

 

  • NO Discord Servers deemed to be similar to Eon Gaming will be approved

 

CORRECTIVE ENFORCEMENT POLICY:


Whenever a member is to be investigated and/or reprimanded, two (2) officers above the member’s rank must be present at all times. No one else but the offender and two (2) officers may be allowed to attend.

  

Discord Participation Policy:

 

All members of Eon Gaming will be required to have access, in some part, to the Discord App for the sake of proper communication within and without the Division. This is accessible through any smartphone, PC, laptop, or even via Microsoft Edge (on the Xbox One) or other browsers (if only to the extent of viewing).

Any member of Eon Gaming wishing to have or create their own server:
– Has to get permission from their Division Leader. The Division Leader will then notify their Director, which will, in turn, take the request to the Chief Strategic Officer.
– The CSO will create the requested server and set up all security permissions. Following this, they will continue to monitor the server for the safety of its members.

 

EQUAL GAMING OPPORTUNITY POLICY:


An important part of Eon Gaming’s mission is to provide equal gaming opportunities to all gamers. Discrimination against anyone, including but not limited to game (play/skill), race, age, gender bias, sexual orientation, gender orientation, religious affiliation, national origin, disability, political affiliation, Gamertag, any other personal interest, or investment is STRICTLY PROHIBITED. Eon Gaming strives to provide a community environment which is fair and equal to all its members.

 

GAMING VIOLENCE POLICY:


Eon Gaming believes in maintaining a safe and healthy gaming experience by promoting an open, friendly, and supportive gaming environment for all its members. Violence and/or threats of violence have no place in our community. Violence and/or threats are never an effective solution to any problem. Members are expected to immediately report any violation(s) of this policy to their superior officer(s). Any member found threatening another member, will be subject to disciplinary action, up to and including, Rank Suspension, Membership Revocation, and/or Blacklisting from Eon Gaming!

 

HARASSMENT/ INTIMIDATION POLICY:


Eon Gaming will not tolerate harassment or intimidation of our members in any situation. Harassment is governed by state laws, which vary from state to state, but is usually defined as a course of conduct which annoys, threatens, intimidates, alarms, or puts a person in fear of their safety. Harassment is unwanted, unwelcome, and uninvited behavior that demeans threatens or offends the individual. Intimidation includes, but is not limited to, knowingly putting another person (or persons) in fear of harm to one’s physical, mental, emotional, or personal loss. Additionally, intimidating any Eon Gaming member in any way that holds their membership, rank, or title hostage in lieu of inappropriate or non-governed performance is STRICTLY PROHIBITED. Example: threatening or intimidation for more than the minimum rank or membership requirements is strictly prohibited. Violations to this policy may result in severe disciplinary action(s), including but not limited to, Blacklisting of your membership. Additionally, you may even face criminal prosecution to the fullest extent of the law, should the situation provide for it.

 

INACTIVITY POLICY:


We encourage all Eon Gaming members to remain active within the community in order to keep their memberships active. Please be sure to log in and take part in Eon Gaming activities and meetings at least twice a month.

Inactive members may be subject to removal for consecutive inactivity during any two-week (14 days) period for the following:
Failure to communicate to your Squad/Division Staff or being offline.
Failure to attend meetings. The member must be out of any other community for a minimum of 30 days. Anyone who fails to do so and is found in a Division/Squad will be automatically membership revoked!

 

OPEN DOOR POLICY:


In Eon Gaming we wish to ensure that members of all ranks are given a path to speak to leadership. This includes, but is not limited to, topics about harassment, discrimination, and general clan questions or concerns. It is preferred that you use the Chain of Command and speak directly to the leaders placed over you. However, if after talking to your leadership you feel the need for additional discussion, you are welcomed to talk with your higher leadership by sending a private message to any or all members of the Board of Directors in the human resources section of the forums “Open Door” topic. The Open Door Policy is not an invitation to circumvent the Chain of Command. You, as a member of Eon Gaming, must always take responsibility, knowing that circumventing the Chain of Command may result in disciplinary action. The relationship between you and your leaders will be one of the most important relationships you will have in Eon Gaming.

 

REAL LIFE POLICY:


Real-life comes first, but not to the detriment of the community. Eon Gaming recognizes that members have a real-life outside of the community, and members are expected to handle their personal life first. However, the responsibilities you voluntarily accepted are still expected to be upheld. If you cannot do your job, then either do not accept, or please surrender the responsibility. All jobs within Eon Gaming will require you to take a certain amount of your time away from your gaming and/or personal life. Complaints of inadequate game time, or personal time, or threats of quitting will qualify for an immediate demotion of rank, and/or maybe interpreted as your resignation from Eon Gaming and will be handled accordingly.

 

 

SEXUAL HARASSMENT POLICY:

 

Any suggestion made to any member that sexual favors will affect any term or condition of membership with Eon Gaming will not be tolerated. It is the policy of Eon Gaming that any harassment, including acts which create a hostile gaming environment, or any other discriminatory act(s) directed against our members, will result in swift and severe discipline, up to and including, Blacklisting. Eon Gaming will not tolerate any such harassment of our members by anyone. For purposes of this policy, sexual harassment is defined as: Any type of sexually oriented conduct, whether intentional or not, which is unwelcome, and has the purpose, or effect, of creating a gaming environment which is hostile, offensive, or coercive. The following are examples of conduct that, depending upon the circumstances, may constitute sexual harassment. Sexual harassment may include anything from calling a person a derogatory name to making advances of a sexual nature. Other forms of sexual harassment include:

Verbal abuse of a sexual nature; sexually degrading, or vulgar, words to describe an individual.
The display of sexually suggestive objects, pictures, posters or cartoons.
Unwelcome comments about an individual’s body.
Asking questions about a person’s sexual preferences, sexual jokes, language, nicknames, advances, or propositions.
Written or oral conduct.
If a sexual harassment accusation has been made, both members will be RS'd for the duration of the investigation.
Members must bring any violation of this policy to the immediate attention of their leaders so they can take it up to a Senior Director. This policy is one of the three exceptions to breaking the Chain of Command.

 

SLANDER / LIBEL / DEFAMATION OF CHARACTER POLICY


Slander is the oral communication of false statements that are harmful to a person’s reputation. Libel is the written or printed communication of false statements through words, pictures, or any form other than spoken words or gestures. Defamation is the communication of a false statement, or claim, which harms the reputation of an individual person or group. If the statements are proven to be true, it is a complete defense to a charge of slander. Oral opinions that don’t contain statements of fact don’t constitute slander. Slander is an act of communication that causes someone to be shamed, ridiculed, held in contempt, and lowered in the estimation of the community.

The basic elements of a claim of slander include:

A defamatory statement
Published to third parties
Where the speaker or publisher knew or should have known, that a statement(s) was false

SQUAD PROMOTING POLICY


A member may not be promoted past the rank of Master Sergeant without a Gamertag/PSN/Discord name change to include their community name which must be in CAPS. A member may not hold the rank of Master Sergeant or higher until they have taken the Eon Gaming Master Sergeant test, have been properly, and fully, trained with the current Eon Gaming information, and been in the community at their current rank for at least two weeks. Additionally, they must have met the minimum requirement(s) for that ranks’ promotion in order to qualify for it. Furthermore, a member may not be promoted to any rank above Staff Sergeant, without first being fully trained in the specific policies and training which may be necessary for that particular rank. If any requirement(s), for their rank is discovered to be “not met”, the member will be demoted until such time that they are. The leader(s) who promoted said member without completing said requirements, will also be subject to Rank Suspension and/or demotion. Only the General of the squad may promote. All officers must have taken and passed the Eon Gaming test to be promoted. A member cannot be appointed or promoted, to rank without passing that rank’s test.

RANKING POLICY


No rank is EVER guaranteed. Even if a squad or division splits, no rank (or title), is guaranteed. Members may not hold a rank (or title) without first successfully completing the Eon Gaming test and/or training for that position. Acting ranks (e.g.: “Acting General”), are to be secured by a superior rank, not a subordinate. For this example, a Co-Founder would be asked to act as Squad General until such time as a General could be promoted from the ranks, or transferred into the squad from another existing one. Again, successful completion of the appropriate Eon Gaming test/training must occur first. Squad level promotions may ONLY be affected by the squads’ General (or Acting General), unless the situation requires a Colonel to be promoted to General, which will then be administered by the Founder over that squad. Should there be a need to fill a Division Staff position, the Division Leader is responsible to promote a qualified member to that position. If the vacancy is the Division Leader position, the responsibility falls on the Director to submit a qualified member to the Board of Directors for voting. Additionally, anyone seeking a Division Leader or Co-Division Leader position must first submit an application to Eon Gaming for approval. All ranks above Co-Division Leader are voted in by the Board of Directors.

                                                    DISCIPLINARY POLICY:

-RANK SUSPENSION:


This disciplinary step is for minor infractions of the rules or Code of Conduct. Only Majors, Colonels, Generals, and above may Rank Suspend. Majors, Colonels, and Generals may Rank Suspend for any amount of time up to (and including) one (1) week, or two (2) meetings, whichever comes first. Co-Founders, Founders, Co-Division Leaders, and Division Leaders, or “Division Staff”, may Rank Suspend for any amount of time up to (and including) 2 weeks (14 days), or four (4) meetings, whichever comes first. Directors and Senior Directors may Rank Suspend for any amount of time up to three (3) weeks (21 days), or six (6) meetings, whichever comes first. Owner(s), President, Chief of Operations, and Chief of Staff may Rank Suspend for any amount of time up to (and including) four (4) weeks (30 days), or eight (8) meetings, whichever comes first.

 

Any member who is RS (Rank Suspended) will be required to recruit (5) new members to the community per week or equivalent to (1) per day.


RS members must also train these new recruits. If the member is under the rank of MSG they will be required to “sit-in” on all training from beginning to end. If the member does not successfully complete these tasks, the process will start over. (NO EXCEPTIONS)
If the member chooses not to comply in a timely manner (3 WEEKS) the member may be removed from the Division (Do Not Hire) and will revert to the conditions of the DNH process. RS will follow said member to their new Div. 3 DNH’s will result in an automatic MR.
RS member will also be expected to attend squad meetings and read aloud the Eon Gaming COC (Code of Conduct)


RS members will also be expected to post meeting notes once a week for whichever squad or division the member belongs to in the assigned area in the discord server.
RS members will also be placed in the “timeout” server on Discord if said member is in the Eon Gaming Community Discord server. This will be in effect the entire duration of a member’s RS.
A member on Rank Suspension cannot attend any game nights, nor attend any squad activities or tournaments while on RS. (NO EXCEPTIONS)


Once a member has been placed on RS for the 3rd occasion they will face an automatic demotion. (NO EXCEPTIONS)


A member facing his or her 6th RS will be automatically MR (Membership Revoked) and must wait 30 days before they may submit a Membership Revoke appeal through the Eon Gaming Court System.

Membership Revoked


A Membership Revoke is used when a member has severely (or continuously) broken the CoC, to the extent that senior leadership deems them entirely unfit for the community and must be removed immediately. However, as the member (or members) in question do not represent an immediate or severe threat to the community, Blacklisting is not warranted. Once a member has had their Membership Revoked, they may apply to rejoin Eon Gaming after a period of 30 days has expired

Squad Level D.N.H.


If a General is having trouble with a member, the General may “D.N.H.” the particular member. The General must advise the Co-Founder that the member is D.N.H from the squad.

Division Level D.N.H.

Division Level D.N.H


The Division Leader may choose to “D.N.H.” a member who has broken the Code of Conduct (CoC) or Policies. Only Division Leaders and above may “D.N.H.”. The member which has been “D.N.H.’d” has two days (48 hours) to find a division or squad (in another Division) to transfer to. The member will advise their previous Division Leader of what squad and division they wish to transfer to. At this point the Division Leader will set up the transfer. At no point in time is any member allowed to transfer Divisions without approval from their Division Leader. If, after 2 days, the member is unable to locate a suitable squad/division, the member is then considered a non-member and is Membership Revoked. When a member is D.N.H from a squad/division he or she is immediately removed from the CMS and any squad/division tag(s). A member is only allowed to be D.N.H (2) times from any division or squad. A third D.N.H will result in an automatic Membership Revoke.

Blacklisting:


Blacklisting is an action reserved for the most severe and egregious of behaviors/threats against Eon Gaming (in part, whole, or digitally), any of its individual members, or collectively.

A Blacklist may only be implemented by an Owner(s), COO, CoS, or CPO as recommended by the Senior Director(s). Members are strictly prohibited from any contact, real or otherwise, with any Blacklisted individuals, communities, groups, or clans, including on a member’s “Friends” list.

The following list includes, but is not limited to, actionable offenses which may result in a member, or members, being Blacklisted:

 

Poaching
Harassment (including sexual)
Threats of Violence (credible)
Information Technology Sabotage
Stalking
Felonious Activity

 

While Eon Gaming does support the separation of community business and personal affairs, if an account is to be personal it is expected to not involve Eon Gaming affairs. If a personal account is known to belong to a member and is found to be disrespecting, slandering, or defaming another member, it will be subject to the terms outlined in the Eon Gaming Policies and is subject to the Code of Conduct.

Any member found to be a recent follower, interacting, or communicating with the account of any Blacklisted Member or Community will be subject to the terms outlined in the Disciplinary Policy in the same way a member is handled who has “added”, interacted, or communicated with a Blacklisted Member or Community.

Any member Blacklisted as a threat level 1-3 must wait a minimum of three (3) months before making an appeal. Any member Blacklisted as a threat level 4-5 must wait a minimum of six (6) months before making an appeal.

Staff Disciplinary Procedure

Eon Gaming has the upmost respect for the Leaders of this community and entrusts them with the responsibility and perms to keep this community running smoothly, accurately, safely and efficiently for all of its members. All staff members are expected to behave in a professional and mature manner at all times and all Staff members are expected to read/know the Eon Gaming Code of Conduct (C.O.C), Rules and Regulations and follow it themselves AT ALL TIMES. Staff members are held to a much higher expectation and standard then others within the community. This is because the Staff of Eon Gaming is essentially what will make this community rise or fall. Staff is expected to follow ALL rules and regulations, to lead by example and be the model for which others should want to be.

 

Any Staff member that is seen or heard behaving in a inappropriate manner that would tarnish the name of Eon Gaming, make this community unsafe for our members or threaten the security and day to day of this community will face much harsher sanctions then others because of the reasons listed above. This includes Rank Suspensions (RS), Membership Revoked (MR) Rank Demotion and/or possible overall removal from Eon Gaming (Depending on severity)

 

1. First offense will result in a RS for 7 days and 2 mandatory meeting with Senior Leadership to train member how to effectively perform their duties. 

 

2. Second Offense will result in a Rank Demotion with a 21 day requirement until member can once again become staff

3. Third Offense will result in a Rank Demotion with a 45 day requirement until member can once again be staff.

4. Forth Offense will result in MR and a 30 period before member can rejoin Eon Gaming

Created by IDoThis211, P3ACHES and CrazyDemonicWolf on December 29th, 2019, the Eon Gaming Community was born. On that day these 3 experienced leaders and fellow gamers set the single goal that all gamers deserve a fun, fair and safe casual gaming experience regardless of age, race, gender, skill level or personal belief/opinion. It was also on that day that these 3 leaders came to the understanding with each other that EVERY gamer, around the world, is just as important as the last as well as the next!

                                                                                  

 

                                                                                         

 

                     

                                  CORRECTIVE ENFORCEMENT POLICY 

Whenever a member is to be investigated, reprimanded, or retrained, a minimum of 2 officers above the member's rank must be present at all times. The party must be locked and controlled as party leader must be the highest-ranking officer. If the offending member refuses to join the party after one day on being invited the member will be aquatically rank suspended until such time that they comply. However, if need be the situation will be escalated from Gen to BoD (if necessary) If offender does not comply with invitations/messages from the BoD, Co-Owner and Owner the offending member may be Membership Revoked to the BoD, Co-Owner, and Owner Discretion for violating the R&R. There must be a vote, there must be at least 4 Board Members in attendance in order for a verdict to be approved. 

                      SUSPENSION AND WORKING RANK SUSPENSION 

Is the disciplinary action for minor infractions of the rules, or R&R. Only Generals and above may rank suspended. Directors may rank 7 suspend for any amount of time up to (and including) 1 week or 2 meetings. Div Staff may rank suspend for 2 weeks or 4 meetings whichever comes first with approval of the Division Leader. There are two forms of progressive discipline under rank suspension: R.S, [Rank Suspension]- for MSGT and below W.R.S [Working Rank Suspension]- For LT’s and above First, the member must replace their rank with W.R.S. or R.S. (whichever applies) in their uniform located in the (location box) in profile and real name

                                            Sexual Harassment 

Sexual harassment is defined as a member making sexual advancements towards a member from another member that is deemed inappropriate, unsolicited, and unwanted by the member who is the victim. Prior to following any actions by Eon leaders or reporting of any sort of sexual harassment case within the Eon community said victim, must have completed the following steps: 

  1. Asked the member who is harassing to discontinue such behavior 

  2. Made an effort to separate communications with this individual by either muting or blocking them for a period of time(approx. 7 days) Once these two steps have been taken by said member without any result to the issue member will contact their General who will contact the community leader, or the next leader above if one is not available. The Eon leader the issue is taken to assess the member accused and situation and will make necessary corrective action. (no punishment if wrongly accused, Membership Removal, Demotion, and blacklist) As such, said accuser may be subject to the same action for falsely reporting a member for sexual harassment.
